Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 21, 2026 · Last updated: June 21, 2026

SnapToSheet is operated by Martello Systems, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use snaptosheet.com (the "Service"), a tool that converts uploaded PDF documents into CSV and spreadsheet files.

1. Information We Collect

Files you upload and extracted data: PDF files you submit for conversion are processed entirely in server memory (RAM). They are never written to permanent disk storage, and the file bytes are released from memory as soon as your converted file is delivered. The extracted/converted data is returned directly to you in your download and is not retained on our servers afterward. We do not store, log, or retain the contents of your uploaded files or the extracted data at any point.

Email address: If you provide your email address to access additional free conversions or to create an account, we store that email address. Providing an email is optional for your first free conversion.

Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store credit card numbers or full payment details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data they handle on our behalf.

Usage and analytics data: We use Google Analytics to collect basic, aggregated usage data such as page views and conversion counts to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. Google Analytics may set cookies and collect information such as your IP address and device/browser type. See the "Cookies and Analytics" section below.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

If you do not wish to receive marketing communications, you may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by emailing hello@snaptosheet.com.

3. File Privacy — Our Core Commitment

We understand that bank statements and financial documents are sensitive. Our system is designed with privacy as the default:

4. Data Sharing — We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share data only with the service providers ("subprocessors") that help us operate the Service:

These providers are bound to handle data only as needed to provide their service to us.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential session functionality (for example, to keep you logged in and to track free-conversion usage) and, through Google Analytics, to measure aggregate usage. You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings; essential session cookies are required for the Service to function.

6. Data Retention

Uploaded files and their extracted data are not retained — they exist only in memory during conversion and are released immediately afterward. Email addresses and account information are retained until you request deletion or your account is closed. Aggregated analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard retention settings. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us.

7. Security

All data in transit is protected with HTTPS/TLS encryption. We restrict access to personal data to those who need it to operate the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

8. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

9. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.

10. Children's Privacy

SnapToSheet is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify users via email or a notice on our website.
